If you’re from the Midwest, you’re familiar with gophers. Perpetually frightened little things, running from hole to hole. Launching out into the vast world of electronic media production can be intimidating…you can feel like a gopher at times. But we want to be the little gopher that could. Sig parvis magna: greatness from small things.
After 10 years of acting in Equity productions and teaching theatre at the elementary, high school and university level, Resolute Gopher founder Tim Hildebrand moved to Los Angeles to take advantage of an MFA scholarship at the New York Film Academy’s L.A. campus. Tim amassed 50+ commercial, tv show and film credits in California while still remaining active in theatre, receiving an Ovation nomination (LA’s highest theatre award) in 2020.
Theatre and theatre education remain a top priority moving forward, but Resolute Gopher exists to also bring our interest in performing excellence to film and television production (you can check out how that journey’s going in the video to the left). In the Fall of 2022 Resolute Gopher joyfully relocated to its forever home in the Nashville area, becoming a TN LLC in early Spring, 2023.
